Opportunities and challenges for the Greater Sunrise gas fields development, including steps required to achieve an optimal integrated field development plan that will have great bearing on project cost growth and ripple effect to the entire field development plan

This conference provides a comprehensive overview of the steps required to achieve an optimal integrated field development plan with accurate lifecycle cost estimates for oil and gas developments. Discussion will include the various configurations and associated costs for onshore, offshore and subsea facilities and drilling components, looking at the key drivers to estimating accurate costs and minimizes project risk as well as further refining site locations and pipeline corridors as part of project development. In addition, discussion will include understanding the reservoir fluid composition to underpin facilities concept selection and cost impact, which is key to the development planning concept selection, that will have great bearing on project cost growth and ripple effect to the entire field development plan.

At this conference, critical issue, including clarifying resource potential in the area around existing fields will be discussed. As such, the challenge is to lay integrated plans for an area in order to exploit the resource potential, processing and transport capacity in an optimum economic manner. Differing ownership constellations for infrastructure and in nearby production licences often pose greater challenges that need to be resolved. Against all these challenges,

“Roadmap towards Alignment to the Development Concept & Commercialization of The Greater Sunrise Gas Fields in the Timor Sea Conference 2018” provides a timely platform to seek greater synergy and coordination from all stakeholders, and placing the principles of sustainable relationships, founded on constructive dialogue, at the core of every stage of the project, in order to steer towards a conductive environment with ample opportunities for comprehensive consultative process to resolve any technical and commercial building blocks of the projects, in order to turn development opportunity into the optimum development concept, as well as managing commercialization issues to realize opportunities and meeting subsequent challenges along the way, in the event of substantive exploration success.
